In partnership with Community Network Partners, the City of Brooks proudly presents BrooksNET—an open-access Fibre-Optic Network. With the capability of delivering up to 10 Gbps internet speed, this cutting-edge network empowers residents and businesses with blazing fast internet and affordable packages from various service providers. Galaxy Fibre, is the premiere provider on the network, offering symmetrical speeds up to 2 Gigabits per second for reliable connections, even during peak hours. Galaxy also brings Rally TV to the city so residents can now stream Live TV and enjoy their favorite shows, sports, news, movies, and entertainment anytime, anywhere.
As of September 2023, construction is over 60% complete. Homes in Zones D and C are already enjoying 100% fibre with free installations.
