Through the Ontario Connects Accelerated High Speed Internet Program (AHSIP), CNP has launched Ontario NorthNET to bring the fastest fibre optic internet to underserved communities across the province. Construction began in White River in September 2023, and will soon commence in The City of Temiskaming Shores (Haileybury), with commercial services targeted to be available in 2024. The network technology being deployed in Haileybury is state-of-the-art, which will drive economic growth and provide reliable and scalable access to digital services for every resident of the community for decades to come. We are dedicated to uplifting underserved communities by removing barriers to reliable and affordable internet for every member of the community.
